Today's Values Voter presidential debate is going to be different from any other. No fluff, no dancing, no spinning. The candidates will be asked direct questions related to abortion, immigration, marriage and other issues Values Voters consider important. Hate Crimes
I just saw a news piece about a man in Madison, WI who witnessed without rancour, and out of concern to someone about the sin of homosexuality. There was no hatred in his heart. This man was taken to court 5 months later and charged with hate crimes, he was fined and would have faced a year in jail had not his attorney settled out of court. The man had to pay $7,000 court costs, pay a fine, attend sensitivity classes and I believe do one year of community service. I'm not positive about the community service. He said the court mandated sensitivity classes he had to attend were run by two lesbians and the message was that homosexuality and lesbianism are normal and not sins. It it hard to believe this has happened in the United States, but it most certainly has. This is why we must call our Senators.
TAKE ACTION: Pray first, ask for wisdom, clarity and favor, bind Satan from all interference, and then call your U.S. Senators and tell them to vote against the Hate Crimes Legislation. Please make those phone calls. For talking points: Click on: http://www.focusaction.org/pdfs/hc_fact_sheet.pdf
It would appear that the ACLU is actively seeking and soliciting people who believe they have been victims of "Hate Crimes" so they can litigate and develop a string of precedences that would bind and gag Christian witness against Homosexuality and Lesbianism if "Hate Crimes" legislation were passed on the national level. They are doing it already (see above case).
PRAY: Ask God to dismantle the ACLU, to de-fund the ACLU, and to thwart them at every turn in court.
