Jerry Falwell

Jerry Falwell, a standard bearer in the culture wars, has passed on to his eternal reward. We will miss him and his uncompromising stand for Jesus, righteousness and justice. A champion of Christian activism, he was the keynote speaker at Rev. Duane Motley's Legislative Day in Albany, NY in March, 2007. We pause to read the following quote from one of his speeches and to thank God for Rev. Falwell's life and legacy.

"With the world on the brink of pandemonium, it is our responsibility to point people -- no matter their heritage, ethnicity or religion -- to the one and only solution, Jesus Christ."
